DIY Mother's Day Cupcake Bouquet

Hey everyone! I made this bouquet for my mother in law for the first mother's day after we got married. It's super cute, yummy, and creative. Not only can it be used as a mother's day gift, but you can use it for any occasion. Here are the few supplies you will need:

  • Small/medium sized plant pot (you might need a larger size for parties)
  • Styrofoam ball
  • Toothpicks
  • Green tissue paper
  • 12-15 cupcakes in liners of your choice (I made vanilla bean cupcakes topped with honey cream cheese frosting)
  • Tape
  • Marker (color of your choice)
Directions:

  1. Place the styrofoam ball inside the pot and tape the sides vertically to hold the ball firmly in place.
  2. Insert toothpicks on the bottom of the cupcakes then starting from the part closest to the pot, begin attaching the cupcakes to the styrofoam ball and then make your way up and around the rest of the styrofoam ball.
  3. Tape green tissue paper on the bald spots of the white styrofoam.
  4. Use your marker to make designs on the pot or write a personalized message.
